Saturday 13 October 2012 - The Benson Lecture in Truro Cathedral, The Rt Revd Dr Graham Kings, Bishop of Sherborne gave the Benson Lecture 2012 in   Truro Cathedral. Henry Martyn: Son of Cornwall and Missionary Scholar. Truro born Henry Martyn (1781 – 1812) lived a short life, but it had a profound influence on missionary activity in India and Persia through his scholarly Bible translation. The Baptistery windows in Truro Cathedral bear lucid witness to his impact. The text of the Benson Lecture   may be seen here.
