Speaker: Dr Rosalee Velloso Ewell – Principal of Redcliffe College, Gloucester

Dr Ewell will explore the themes of justice and peace from the psalms, especially the imagery of Psalm. 85, from where the title comes from. She will offer ideas around a theology of Christian witness in today’s world with special focus on witness and mission in contexts of violence and religious persecution.

Before taking up her new position as Principal of Redcliffe College in September 2018, Dr Velloso Ewell was Executive Director of the Theological Commission of the World Evangelical Alliance (WEA), having previously served in roles at the South American Theological Seminary and as New Testament editor for Langham Partnership’s project Latin American Bible Commentary..
